Collagraphs

Original and atmospheric prints full of texture and colour. These collagraph prints are printed by hand using the intaglio method, often in layers of colour. The plate from which I use to print, materialises from sealed card, containing delicate cuts and textured materials applied to depict my subject. Due to the fragility of the plates used to create each print, only a small quantity of prints are ever produced. My inspiration for these comes from stunning landscapes and characterful, old buildings and structures.
