These are a collection of large, expressive acrylic paintings that I produced for a commission in 2019. They were based on a collection of small seascapes that I had produced around Aberystwyth. The original paintings were painted en plein air and my challenge with these larger paintings was to preserve the fleeting sense of place noticeable in the earlier paintings whilst adding more detail.
